How limited is "limited edition"?
Only 750 Edge of Solitude pieces will ever be made. This is a one-time-only production run. When they're gone, that's it— no redos, no second editions, no exceptions.
Why only 750 pieces?
This is the artisan approach to collectibles that defines everything we do at StudioForge™. We specialize in ultra-limited editions, creating some of the world's most unique collectibles. By avoiding mass production, we ensure not just the highest quality, but extreme rarity. As an owner of a StudioForge™ piece, you join an exclusive club.
Can I use this knife in the kitchen?
While designed primarily as a collector's displayable, Edge of Solitude can be used in the kitchen. It was forged from BD1N-VX™ Hyper Steel and professionally sharpened with D3™ and LionShield™ treatments. However, most collectors choose to keep their Bladed Displayables™ in unused condition to preserve both value and quality.
How do I care for my Bladed Displayable™?
For Display: Keep in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight. The magnetic Fortress of Solitude™ stand provides optimal positioning and protection for long-term preservation.
For Kitchen Use: We recommend against using it in the kitchen to preserve value, but ultimately the choice is yours. If you choose to use it, hand wash only with mild soap and dry immediately. Never use a dishwasher, as it can damage the specialized materials. Always return to the display stand when not in use to maintain the blade's pristine condition and protect your investment.
Deposit, Returns & Shipping:
Why is there a shipping fee?
Due to their rare nature and extremely high value, every StudioForge™ piece is shipped from our California vault, exclusively reserved for StudioForge™ items, directly to your door. We use a white-glove service including custom protective packaging, fully-insured transit, and signature confirmation upon arrival. The shipping fee* allows us to partially absorb these costs, ensuring your piece arrives in pristine condition.
*Please note that this shipping fee also applies to Dalstrong Elite members
What if I want to cancel my order?
Orders that have not yet shipped can be cancelled for up to 24 hours after purchase. Once the order is shipped, we can no longer cancel it. If you wish to cancel, please email info@dalstrong.com with your Order ID as soon as possible. All orders can only be cancelled prior to shipping.
What Is Your Return Policy?
For defective / damages products
If your item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We’ll work with you to provide a replacement or refund, depending on stock availability.
Because many of our items are limited edition, replacements may not always be available. In those cases, a full refund will be issued.
Please note:
Due to the handcrafted nature of each StudioForge™ piece, minor variations in paint or structural elements may occur. These do not affect the function, quality, or collectible value of the item, and are not considered defects. We reserve the right to decline damage claims for issues that do not significantly impact the integrity or presentation of the piece.
To start a return and damage claim, please contact info@dalstrong.com with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- At least three clear photos of the item and packaging
For undamaged products
If you wish to return an item that is neither defective nor damaged in transit, note that a restocking fee will apply. This amount is subject to change and will be communicated prior to return approval.
To return an item, you must:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery to arrange return
- Return the item in unused, re-sellable condition
- Packaging must also be in re-sellable condition
- Return must be received within 14 days days of your return request
- Customer is responsible for return shipping
- Refund will be issued after inspection and approval
