While designed primarily as a collector's displayable, Drogon's Fury™ can be used in the kitchen. However, the Black Copper Damascus steel will naturally develop a unique patina over time if you use it. Most collectors choose to keep their Bladed Displayables™ in unused condition to preserve both value and pristine appearance.

Drogon's Fury™ is first and foremost a culinary collector's item, designed primarily for display. While the blade features premium materials and craftsmanship, its unique materials require special attention if you choose to use it.

For collectors, we recommend keeping it in unused condition on its display stand, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.

For those who wish to use the knife, please note that the Black Copper Damascus steel will naturally develop a unique patina over time—especially with use. This is not a defect but rather a characteristic of copper-infused steel, appreciated by many enthusiasts for its one-of-a-kind appearance. However, the copper content makes this blade more reactive to oxidation than standard steel, therefore it must be cared for after every use. The zinc alloy handle with its plated finish may be affected over time if over-exposed to rough handling, washing or acidic ingredients.

Hand Wash Only: Clean with warm water and mild soap immediately after use. Never leave food residue or moisture on the blade.

Dry Immediately: Thoroughly dry the entire knife, paying special attention to any crevices where moisture might collect.

No Dishwasher: Never place the knife in a dishwasher as this will damage both the blade pattern and handle finish.

Store Properly: Always return the knife to its display stand when not in use, in a cool, dry environment.

Oil Regularly: Apply a thin coat of food-safe mineral oil to the blade after cleaning to protect against oxidation, especially if the knife will be stored for a period of time.

Avoid Acidic Foods: The copper content in the blade may react with acidic foods like citrus, vinegar, or tomatoes.

Handle With Care: Avoid scratching or wearing the plated handle finish through rough handling or impact with cutting surfaces.

By following these simple care instructions, your Drogon's Fury™ piece will remain a treasured centerpiece for years to come.

Why is there a shipping fee?

Due to their rare nature and extremely high value, every StudioForge™ piece is shipped from our California vault, exclusively reserved for StudioForge™ items, directly to your door. We use a white-glove service including custom protective packaging, fully-insured transit, and signature confirmation upon arrival. The shipping fee* allows us to partially absorb these costs, ensuring your piece arrives in pristine condition.

What if I want to cancel my order?

Orders that have not yet shipped can be cancelled for up to 24 hours after purchase. Once the order is shipped, we can no longer cancel it. If you wish to cancel, please email info@dalstrong.com with your Order ID as soon as possible. All orders can only be cancelled prior to shipping.

What Is Your Return Policy?

For defective / damages products

If your item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We’ll work with you to provide a replacement or refund, depending on stock availability.

Because many of our items are limited edition, replacements may not always be available. In those cases, a full refund will be issued. 

Please note:

Due to the handcrafted nature of each StudioForge™ piece, minor variations in paint or structural elements may occur. These do not affect the function, quality, or collectible value of the item, and are not considered defects. We reserve the right to decline damage claims for issues that do not significantly impact the integrity or presentation of the piece.

To start a return and damage claim, please contact info@dalstrong.com with:

• Your order number
• A description of the issue
• At least three clear photos of the item and packaging

For undamaged products

If you wish to return an item that is neither defective nor damaged in transit, note that a restocking fee will apply. This amount is subject to change and will be communicated prior to return approval. 

To return an item, you must:

• Contact us within 48 hours of delivery to arrange return
• Return the item in unused, re-sellable condition
• Packaging must also be in re-sellable condition
• Return must be received within 14 days days of your return request
• Customer is responsible for return shipping
• Refund will be issued after inspection and approval
